The Tooth Has Set Me Free

So my minor surgery went fine. I’m still alive! Which means I get to keep the stuff I included in my “last will and testament“. lol. The dentist was very good, very nice, and very patient. But those didn’t stop me from being nervous and teary-eyed the whole time! I almost pulled myself up when I saw him holding the injection. It was huge, I tell you. From that point on, I had my eyes closed and responded only to the sound of the dentist’s voice. Yes, he did some incision, pulled the tooth out, and stitched my gums together. Icky, I know. Fortunately, I didn’t feel (or see) a thing. It just feels a little weird though. Haha. It’s been two days since, and I haven’t felt any major pain yet. Maybe it’s because I’m regularly taking in painkillers and antibiotics. I just wish I don’t OD on them. lol.

Overall, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Okay, okay, all of you were right. I overreacted. I should have done this a year ago. But… it’s better late than never.

To Hogwarts and Back

I couldn’t sleep last Friday night worrying about my appointment with the dentist so I distracted myself by going back to my Harry Potter streak. I was wrapping up The Deathly Hallows by three in the morning despite my droopy eyes. Once I pop, I can’t stop! I can’t believe how much J.K. Rowling has made the story even more exciting than it already was prior to Book 7. She’s really creative. I hope Warner Bros finishes filming The Half Blood Prince soon, so they can start filming The Deathly Hallows. Hehe. Kudos to the best book series I’ve ever read!

I should probably admit too that the deaths in the book made me very sad like they did everybody else. Even the part where Harry was saying his final goodbye to the Dursleys (where Dudley almost didn’t want to “leave” him behind) caused my eyes to sting. Who would think that the big fat fellow who’s been cruel to Harry since their diaper days can suddenly go all soft? Haha. I know that I’m one of the last people who have just read Book 7, but, like I said, it’s better late than never.

I was surfing YouTube the other night looking for special Harry Potter videos and found this interview. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson grow up so fast, don’t they? Pretty soon they’re gonna be taking more serious, grown-up roles. I know Daniel already did. And there’s another one coming up soon. Aw, I kinda miss the those little unkempt children in The Sorcerer’s Stone. Heh.

Try to catch the part where Daniel Radcliffe said he thinks Sebastian (of The Little Mermaid) was the blue and yellow fish. lol. Poor Flounder.
