I watched that movie about two years ago or so. What I particularly responded to was at the concert, the climax of the movie so to speak, but this is not to dampen the effect of some segment.

I think the concept itself, while it may be a novel idea to some, is something universal. Dont we all aspire to achieve a connection? In the absence of that “thing” which connects us, how we would love to substitute it for something we can relate to, a song, an object, a time, a place – or the memory of it?

Nice story, nice movie.

Hey Jon’! I saw this movie some months ago and I loved it too. Everyone I know who has seen “August Rush” has nothing but praises for it. I love how music/faith has brought the 3 of them together. Great plot and you explained it here so precisely.

I couldn’t stop replaying the movie over and over again! It makes me think how can I possibly make a kid as talented as this child hehehe! He’s a total genius with an impish smile

I want to believe that if there is 1 special gift possessed by each of us, we can never really stop using it no matter how hard we try – because it going to define our destiny.
