Yeah … That is our Balinese Name … Is very different than anybody from around the world.. Let me ask you ; How many marry Ann In Philipine , How many Jose ,Alvin and Jaimy what ever Not Only in Philipine ,In the world How many People Using that Name But You Cannot Find Our Name Anywhere in The World , If There’s It should be from Bali …. What do you Think about That .

What Henry has said is basically true.

But after the birth-order name, people are then given a range of given names, which are now very ornate, Sanskrit or Old Javanese-based names. However, most people prefer a nickname or two – it’s not uncommon for people to call themselves “Super” or “Joker” (sounds familiar, right?). The ornate names only became a trend among the lower caste in the last 20-30 years – before, names like Jebeg, Dodog, and other “less elegant” given names were common. Heck, “bebot” would’ve been an entirely good Balinese given name in the beginning of the 20th century!

Not entirely correct. You are right about how they name children, but there are actually about 7 names:

The first child is Wayan or Putu,
The second child is Made or Kadek,
The third is Nyoman or Komang, and
the fourth is Ketut.

Then they start over again. I also don’ t think it is against the law to name your children something else – Sani is a name that you also see, etc.
