BASIC

The last of 3 kids, and the only girl, I’m a graduate of USLS with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. I work as a full-time E-Commerce Marketing Manager for a US-based company, and I moonlight as a freelance Associate Designer for E.Webscapes. I am based in Manila, Philippines.

HOBBIES

I spend most of my time in front of my laptop, but when I’m not, I’m listening to my iPod and singing my heart out, on a vacation in a local or foreign place, going on coffee dates or karaoke nights with friends, gone to catch the latest movie, watching DVDs and TV shows, reading a novel, or sleeping. My favorite authors include Haruki Murakami, J.K. Rowling, Joshilyn Jackson, Jeffrey Eugenides, Elizabeth Gilbert, Neil Gaiman, C.S. Lewis, and Frank Peretti. I enjoy Contemporary Christian Music and I’m a huge fan of the TV shows FRIENDS, Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Lost, One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, The Vampire Diaries, Brothers & Sisters, Glee and Chuck. I used to play volleyball, used to be fond of dancing, used to draw/sketch/paint, used to be a basketball and anime fanatic, used to play a little guitar, used to sing a lot — used to, until I grew up and joined the corporate arena.

RANDOM OTHERS

As part of my mission to stop myself from crawling back to bed, I drink coffee at least once a day. I try my hardest when it comes to acting, cooking, and exercise. I’m a dog person (as opposed to a cat person) and I keep two hamsters as pets [RIP, hammies].  I’m a (relatively) independent person with no permanent address who has finally found her place in this world! I love to visit new places and my ultimate dream is stepping onto European soil one day  – specifically, Italy.

ON BLOGGING

I’ve been blogging for the last five years. My first blog was hosted at Blogger and by Angela, who first taught me how to setup my own blog. I was also blogging at Tabulas before I finally registered my own domain. I hope to keep this blog for good.

FAITH

I am a Christian, introduced to Christ by my mother at the age of ten. I’m a member of the local church, Ikthus Bacolod, and an organization called Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. I believe in the one true God and that salvation is only through His son, Jesus Christ. One day I would also like to be able to say that “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7)
